About Carl E. Shaw, CPA, CFE
Since 1978, Carl has served local government, not-for-profit organizations and individual income tax clients by providing assurance, consulting and tax services. His services include both year-end and special-purpose audit engagements and consulting on such issues as fraud prevention and evaluation of internal control systems. Experienced as a discussion leader, Carl also provides seminars on a variety of topics, including current audit issues and techniques, fraud prevention and identification and tax matters.  

Professional Organizations
Carl is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (NCACPA). 

Community Involvement
A devoted member of his community, Carl enjoys and actively seeks opportunities to be involved in the Hendersonville area.  Carl serves as Chairman of the Henderson County Chamber of Commerce. In addition to his service with the Chamber, Carl is also a member of the Hendersonville Rotary Club where he is a recognized Paul Harris Fellow. 

Family
Carl and his wife Debbie have lived in Hendersonville since 1978.  They have a son Andrew, 21, who attends UT-Chattanooga.

Office
Carl's office is located in beautiful downtown Hendersonville, at 220-C, 3rd. Avenue, West. Carl is joined in his office by Anne Ridings, his Administrative Assistant.
